## Capabilities

- Template engine: Transform any Word document into a template and fill it from a phone, tablet or computer on the job.
- Automatic fields: PO numbers, client information, equipment serial numbers, locations and dates are filled from the job, avoiding mistakes.
- Copy from a previous report: For repeat clients, copy an old report; AMPS refills only the fields that change with the new job.
- AI writing assistant: Turn field notes into report text: "MPI on 2 welds, they comply" became "Magnetic Particle Inspection conducted on two circumferential welds confirms compliance with ASME B31.3 standards".
- Ask any document: Ask AMPS anything about one or several documents, for example to summarise the PO number, contact person and job description.
- E-signature and delivery: Sign the report in AMPS, save it to the job's report folder and send it to the client from AMPS.

## Why Word

Your report layouts are controlled documents that clients, auditors and your own Level 3 approved. A reporting tool that forces a redesign creates a document-control project before it saves a minute. AMPS keeps the document and removes the retyping.

## How it works

The template engine transforms a Word document into an app. Fields that belong to the job (PO number, client, equipment serial numbers, location, dates) are filled automatically. For a client you work with often, copy from an old report and AMPS refills only the fields that change with the new job. Complete the technical content on your phone, tablet or computer, ask the AI assistant to improve a paragraph, sign, save and send.

## Results

The result is the same Word document you are used to. The report lives in the job's report folder in your own cloud storage, next to the photos and documents, with the history feature recording who did what and when.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do we have to rebuild our report templates?

No. AMPS transforms the Word documents you already use into templates. You keep the layout, clauses, acceptance criteria and revision block your QA system approved; AMPS adds the automatic filling of job data.

### Can the AI write the report for us?

The AI assistant rewrites and improves text you provide, using the job details as context, and can answer questions about documents on AMPS. The technician remains the author and signs the report; the AI removes retyping and tidies the wording.

### Where are our documents stored?

In your own Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint, or Google Drive. AMPS creates and maintains a customisable folder structure there, including a report folder for every job, so you keep full ownership of your data and your existing QA folder structure keeps working. Because the files are in your storage rather than on AMPS servers, you keep every report, photo and document if you ever stop using AMPS, and revoking single sign-on in your own IT cuts AMPS off instantly.

### What is the AMPS reporting system?

AMPS reporting is the part of AMPS that turns your existing Microsoft Word documents into report templates and fills them with data already held on the job: PO number, client, asset and equipment serial numbers, location and dates. Technicians complete the technical content on a phone, tablet or computer, an AI assistant improves the wording, the report is signed in AMPS and emailed to the client from AMPS, and the file is saved to that job's report folder in your own OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive. Separately, all AMPS data is available to Power BI, so reporting in the analytics sense, hours, costs, completion rates and job status, is covered as well.

### Can we sign reports electronically?

Yes. Reports can be signed within AMPS, and the signed Word file is saved to the job's report folder and sent to the client from AMPS, with the action recorded in the job history.
