### How far in advance does AMPS warn about expiring certificates?

The flag system notifies users one month in advance when a certificate is about to expire, and the same mechanism flags equipment calibration and scheduled inspections that fall due.

### Does AMPS block a technician from being assigned when a certificate has expired?

AMPS does not publish an automatic block. The supervisor assigning a job can see each technician's certificates on the personnel page, and the flag system has already warned a month before expiry.

### Can we track equipment calibration too?

Yes. Equipment has its own page with calibration certificates and forms, and the flag system warns before calibration is due. Reference blocks, gauges and instruments can each be tracked as equipment.

### Where are our documents stored?

In your own Microsoft OneDrive or SharePoint, or Google Drive. AMPS creates and maintains a customisable folder structure there, including a report folder for every job, so you keep full ownership of your data and your existing QA folder structure keeps working. Because the files are in your storage rather than on AMPS servers, you keep every report, photo and document if you ever stop using AMPS, and revoking single sign-on in your own IT cuts AMPS off instantly.
