- Managing periodic inspections of client equipment with asset history and due-date flags
- Coordinating shutdown scopes with job groups and per-asset statuses
A day on AMPS
The office opens jobs from client emails or with email actions, attaches the work pack and assigns technicians whose certificates are visible on the personnel page. Technicians see their jobs page, do the work, upload photos, fill the Word report on a tablet with job data already in place, sign it and send it to the client from AMPS. Time and reimbursable costs go on the job the same day. The job is marked ready for invoicing and the office creates the invoice in Xero.
Certificates and equipment
AMPS keeps personnel and equipment certificates on dedicated personnel and equipment pages, and its flag system warns one month before a certificate, calibration document or scheduled inspection falls due, so managers always know what is missing or expiring.
Repeat work and shutdowns
In AMPS every asset and job carries a QR code. Scanning it opens the asset page and the history of jobs performed on it, assets can hold sub-assets, and jobs can be grouped, for example per shutdown. During shutdowns, jobs are grouped, work packs stay current on each job page with real-time notification, and Power BI compares performance and cost afterwards.
