Timesheet

A timesheet is the record of hours (and often costs) a technician spends per job and per day, used to bill clients, pay staff, measure job profitability and evidence who did the work.

Also known as: time tracking, time entry, labour hours, payroll export.

What inspection companies need

Technicians enter time on their phone the same day, supervisors approve, the office exports to payroll and bills the client from the same numbers. Anything that requires re-typing between those steps fails.

Timesheets in AMPS

AMPS timesheets are entered against the job, exported in batch for entire inspection teams and to your preferred payroll system, and a cost marked as reimbursable shows as such on the timesheet. The time and costs tab on the job page gives the job’s financial picture; Power BI does the analysis across jobs.
