Also known as: quote to cash, request to invoice, job lifecycle, order to cash.

## The steps

1. A supervisor, administrator or inspector creates the job with client information and scope. 2. The supervisor assigns it to a technician with the instructions attached. 3. The technician does the work. 4. The report is generated and sent to the client from the system. 5. Time and costs are logged. 6. The job is marked complete and ready for invoicing.

## Where it leaks

Reports living in personal folders, timesheets submitted weeks late, PO numbers re-typed, invoices raised only when someone remembers. Each leak is days of working capital.

## The workflow in AMPS

AMPS runs the job pipeline from creation and assignment through execution, reporting, timesheets and closure; a job marked ready for invoicing is visible to administrative staff in real time and the invoice is created in Xero.
