## Key facts

- Common in competing NDT platforms; valued by asset owners with many contractors
- Adds user management, branding and access-control work for the inspection company
- Many clients still require reports by email or upload into their own document system
- AMPS has no client portal yet and no public API: reports are sent from AMPS by email, files live in your OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive, which you can share, and data export plus Power BI cover reporting

Also known as: customer portal, client login, report portal.

## What a portal solves

Clients asking for the same report twice, and the office spending its afternoon forwarding PDFs. It also creates a history the client can search.

## How AMPS handles client access

AMPS sends reports to the client directly from the job, so the organisation knows what was sent and when, and stores every document in your own OneDrive, SharePoint or Google Drive where sharing follows your existing rules. Third parties, such as an asset owner's inspector, can be given a temporary role in AMPS with access to specific asset histories, revocable at any time, as described in the asset management case study.
