## What a useful trail contains

The actor, the timestamp, the object (job, asset, document, report) and the change. Filtering by job or asset turns it into the vertical audit an assessor performs.

## The audit trail in AMPS

Every action taken in AMPS is tracked by its history feature, and each job page holds the latest version of its documents with everyone notified when a document is updated. Reports are sent to the client from AMPS, so the send itself is on record.
