## Why it appears in NDT records

Flaw detectors, thickness gauges and reference blocks from US manufacturers often ship with A2LA-accredited calibration certificates. Under ISO/IEC 17025 traceability rules, those certificates are acceptable evidence in Australia and New Zealand through the ILAC arrangement.
