AMPS asset management for wind farms

With AMPS, you can manage a wind farm as a single asset comprising multiple sub-assets—the wind turbines. This allows you to track compliance at both the farm level and for individual turbines. Documents related to the entire farm, such as health and safety guidelines, access instructions, and other general documentation, can be uploaded to the farm’s asset page. Meanwhile, specific documents like inspection reports can be uploaded to individual turbine asset pages.

In this example, we create Quartz Hill wind farm in New Zealand. To achieve this, we have set up the Quartz Hill wind farm asset and five sub-assets named QH - Turbine 1 to 5.

AMPS’ precise positioning feature enables users to locate specific turbines using Google Maps. Additionally, by scanning an asset’s QR code, users can instantly access all related documents for every job they have permission to view on AMPS via their mobile devices.

Managing work on the wind farm

Now that the assets have been created and organized into sub-assets, it’s easy to create jobs or job groups for each asset and schedule them accordingly.

Jobs appear on the Jobs page and also on the respective asset’s Jobs page, ensuring that every job performed on an asset is tracked efficiently.

For example, Turbine 1 currently has: 2 new jobs, one job in progress, and one job ready to be invoiced to the client.
